Terms & Conditions

RATES:

All rates are quoted in US Dollars ($) and all rates are subject to change without prior notice.
 
PAYMENTS:
1. Deposit - A “50% Deposit” of the entire rental amount must be received by Splendid Bali within two (2) working days after confirmation of the reservation has been given. If your deposit is not received within the designated period, we regret to inform you that details of your booking will not be released.

2. Final payment – Final payment is required “45 days” prior to the check-in date (60 days for high or peak season bookings). If the booking is made less than 45 days prior to check-in date (or 60 days for Christmas/New Year bookings); full payment will be required within two (2) working days. For last minute bookings (within 7 days or less prior to arrival), full payment is due immediately after confirmation of your reservation.
 
All payments must be made in US Dollars with payment:
* Payment by Telex Transfer - All charges incurred for Telex Transfer transactions will be borne by the client.

CHANGES OF BOOKING:
A $100 (USD) Administration fee will be applicably charged each time a confirmed booking is changed. Changes might not be accommodated in all cases.

CANCELLATIONS:
Notice of booking cancellation must be received by Splendid Bali in writing. All Deposits will be refunded in full, less 20% of the total booking values if the reservation is cancelled 61 days or more prior to arrival (91 days or more for high and peak seasons). In the event of any reservation/s being cancelled in less than 61 days (91 days for high season & peak season) prior to the confirmed arrival date, all deposit/s will be forfeited.
 
Please note if multiple villas are booked, a cancellation fee will be applicable for each villa.
Some villas require non refundable deposit, and is stated the villa booking confirmation/invoice.

Final payments are non-refundable.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY UPON CHECK IN:
With some villas, upon arrival, clients will be asked to sign a Waiver of Liability and provide a credit card imprint that allows the villa establishment to charge the card for any additional charges that clients might incur in damages whilst staying at the villa. Alternatively, a security deposit in cash may be required, which will be refunded in full upon departure unless any such damages occur; where an appropriate charge will be applied and deducted to cover those damages.

SEASONS:
Most villas have three (3) seasons:
 
Low Season : 9th January to 30th June, 16th September to 19th December (Not Including Easter & Chinese New Year)

High Season :
1st July to 31st July, 1st September to 15th September Easter week & Chinese New Year

Peak Season : 1st August to 31st August, 20th December to 8th January

Seasons and minimum stay requirements vary from each property, and is stated on each villa’s info-pack.

Check In & Check Out Time
Check in time is 3:00pm; whilst Check out time is 11:00am
Late check out prior to 6pm at half day rental charges
Late check out pass 6pm at one night rental charges

SERVICES:
For some villas, the rates include breakfast, while some do not. All applicable rates and information on other chargeable services will be stated on each villa’s info-pack.
Service also includes return airport transfer; with a 1-time pick up on approved arrival time, and a 1-time drop off on approved departure time.
 
VILLA CAPACITY:
The numbers of person occupying any particular villa must not exceed the maximum number stated on the booking confirmation.
 
Some of our designated villas have different policies on numbers of children per villa; if necessary, please communicate with us regarding our limitations concerning this issue.

EVENTS & PARTIES:
Clients cannot hold large parties in any of the private villas without first making prior arrangements with the villa establishment. The villa establishment might be required to get a license from the local authorities, and this will also involve additional charges, which will be passed on to the client.
 
Some villas have rules governing their usage for events and parties, and at times require a surcharge of up to equivalent of a night’s rental, plus a local community fee or ‘Banjar Fee’ to be paid by the client.
 
A special permission must be obtained for function where the number of people in attendance exceeds 150% of the capacity of the villa. The clients should be aware that some villas are private villas located in residential neighborhoods and, not all functions or events can necessarily be accommodated, as much depends on the vagaries of the neighborhood’s residents.
 
If you are planning to hold an event such as a wedding or any large party congregation of people at the villa, it would be best to bring this to Splendid Bali’s attention as soon as possible.

DAMAGES AND LOSSES:
Clients are responsible for keeping their rental villa in good condition and will be required to reimburse the villa establishment for any damages or losses caused by them. The villa establishment also reserves the right to request the immediate termination of their stay without refund, if their property sustains damages that are deemed excessive.

INSURANCE:
We strongly recommend that you take out a comprehensive insurance to protect you and all those that are accompanying you for the duration of your visit against illness, injury, evacuation, death, loss of baggage and personal items, cancellations and other travel contingencies.

LIABILITY:
Splendid Bali does not accept liability for any injury, sickness, loss, damage, additional expenses or inconvenience directly or indirectly caused by (such a late flight, civil disturbance, nature disasters, acts of government and others) that may occur; or any event that may occur from the use or condition of the property during the client's holiday or during any of the client’s activities during their holiday in Bali.
