All passports must be valid for a minimum period of “6 Months” upon arrival.
1. VISA FREE FACILITY
The visa-free facility is available for tourists who are citizens of:
Brunei Darussalam, Chile, Hong-Kong Special Administrative Region, Macao Special Administrative Region, Malaysia, Morocco, Peru, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam
The visa-free facility is valid for a maximum of “30 Days” and cannot be extended or converted into any other type of visa.
2. VISA ON ARRIVAL FACILITY
The Visa-On-Arrival (VoA) facility is available for citizens of:
Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Egypt, Emirates Arab, Finland, Germany, Holland, Hungary, India, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Luxembourg, Maldive, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, P.R.China, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Africa, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Kingdom, and USA.
Visitors are able to purchase a visa for the following:
- A 30-Day visit costs USD 25
The Visa-On-Arrival fees are paid directly to the Chief of Immigration of the local office in charge of Immigration check points at an officially designated airport /seaport in Indonesia.
The Visa-On-Arrival facility is available at the following airports: Bali, Jakarta, Medan, Menado, Padang, Pekanbaru and Surabaya.
Seaports: Batam, Belawan (Medan), Dumai, Jayapura (Papua), Padang Bai (Bali), Tanjung Uban (Bintan), Teluk Bayur (Padang-Sumatra), and Sibolga (Sumatra).
Citizens of other countries NOT on the “Visa-on Arrival” or “Visa-Free” facility lists will be required to apply for a visa at the Indonesian Embassy overseas in their home country before entering Indonesia.
3. OVERSTAYING YOUR VISA PERIOD
The penalty for overstaying is $20 (US) a day. Please be aware about the length of your visa.
